How to subscribe

Our blog is just one of many regularly updated information websites available on the internet that offers an RSS feed. RSS feeds are a way for website users to receive notification of changes to a website they are interested in. Whenever new information is added to the site, subscribers to the rss feed will be sent a summary of the new content to the feed reader of their choice. It is sort of like receiving e-mail from a website instead of a person. This page is a basic starting point for newcomers to the blog/podcasting scene.

To subscribe to our feed you will need a feed reader of some kind. There are over 2000 feed readers available, but we will just recommend a single solution for casual subscribers.

To subscribe to our feed, we recommend that you update your version of Microsoft Internet Explorer to version 7. This version includes a simple, easy to use feed reader that is seamlessly built into the browser. Then all you must do is click on the rss feed link in the top left corner of the page.

Download the IE7 update here if you do not already have it. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx

If you are using Firefox, there is a rss reader included in it as well.

The above readers are for casual users only. If you find that you enjoy receiving information in this way and wish to subscribe to many different feeds, we suggest downloading a more advanced reader. This wikipedia article would be a good place to start looking for one that suits you.
